Job Description

Perform protective, preventative, safety and security related enforcement functions touring facility to ensure the safety and well-being of customers, visitors and staff. Implements and monitors all security operations in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies in a courteous and restrained manner in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances and threats.

Major responsibilities include:

·         Ability to identify and diffuse potentially difficult situations

·         Team Player – stock ice, product, etc.

  • Greet, welcome and invite guests with enthusiasm. Spending a moment or two with each guest will help you notice possible situations to be aware of throughout the evening or other shifts.
  • Become acquainted with the names and personalities of our regular guests.
  • Request and check identifications of all entering guests. The standard is to check anyone appearing to be under 35 years of age.
  • Manage the admittance and/or departure of problematic guests. Be preventative in your actions as much as possible and creatively diffuse situations.
  • If applicable, assist the host staff in seating guests or in the collection of cover charges for special promotional events when possible.
  • Complete any set up, closing, side work or project duties assigned to you by a manager(s).
  • Complete incident reports, when appropriate, for any occurrence. 
  • Controlling access of employees and/or visitor
  • Maintaining a professional appearance, uniform and manner at all times
  • Maintaining security of premises by conducting inside and outside patrols of the secure facility

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to quickly learn the layout of the facility
  • Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shift
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances between and within buildings on the property
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
